We only use uPVC frames to our windows and doors, because they are virtually maintenance free. They will never need painting and are not harmed by insects, mould or rodents. 

Our windows are glazed with 28mm sealed units. This is 4mm glass with a 20mm air gap. This space is important because it acts as an insulator between the cold air outside and the warm air inside your  home. With uPVC window frames, the frame is warm to touch even on the coldest days, and with double gaskets around each opening, cold draughts are eliminated. <<Back More>>
